What is DTG?

DTG, or Direct to Garment Printing, is the process of digitally printing an image directly into the fibres of a garment, rather than screen printing an image on top of the garment surface itself.

There are certainly situations where a DTG Print onto a t-shirt or hoodie is much more of an advantage.

Although we offer Screen Printing, DTG is a much more affordable garment printing option in cases where the design has a huge amount of colours, such as a photograph or illustration.

Screen Prints require physical screen setup fees per colour, meaning a high quantity of colours can turn into a very expensive setup.

With DTG there is no such issue!

DTG print is also handy when you are looking at a small quantity run of prints.

We only recommend DTG printing onto 100% cotton garments.
